LG entry-level clamshells add to candybar offerings

In addition to two new candybar handsets from LG, it has emerged the company is also about to launch two entry-level clamshell models.
It is reported this week that LG will launch their KP100 and KP105 candybar models throughout Europe this month, however, Mobile Gazette reports that these could also be accompanied by two similar flip models.
The first of these is the LG KP235, which despite an expected price tag of £40 on the Orange network, is equipped with Bluetooth, GPRS, WAP browsing and an integrated VGA camera.
It is also stated that the "an almost identical handset" named the KP230 is available exclusively on the Vodafone network and like its sibling appears to feature a 1.7-inch 128 x 160 pixel TFT screen and 3.5 hours of talktime.
"The KP230 and KP235 really can be considered as entry level devices with the useful addition of Bluetooth," the site concludes.
