Two new candybar handsets from LG are set to be released that target the entry-level market, according to reports.
Mobile Gazette notes this week that the manufacturer is to put out two new models, the KP100 and KP105, which will come with a small price tag while still offering good design.
The LG KP100 is expected to cost around £48 and is a "simple but stylish arrangement" that should offer enough to keep most entry-level users happy.
It notes that the white and red unit is equipped with a 1.5-inch 128 x 128 pixel screen capable of reproducing up to 65,000 colours and is expected to feature vibrating alert and a speakerphone.
LG's KP105 handset, on the other hand, will be slightly more expensive but features an FM radio and will be available throughout Europe this month.
"These two phones
are good value for money and pleasing to look at. For most people, these simple features are all they will ever need," the article concludes.
