Motorola smartphone offers 'global cool'
A new smartphone is on the way from Motorola that will offer increased levels of wireless support, it has emerged.
According to phoneArena, the Motorola Napoleon Q9 is a global addition to the manufacturer's range of mobile phones and builds on existing models by offering international GSM connectivity.
"Unlike past [models], which only supported the European GSM bands, the Napoleon has quad-band GSM support," it states.
In addition, the Napoleon Q9 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, is cpmpatible with quad-band EDGE technology and is equipped with a two-megapixel camera, built-in flash, fingerprint scanner and Wi-Fi access.
Pocketnow.com reports this week the handset could be "the world's sexiest, coolest smartphone" and also offers stereo speakers. However, it does take issue with the model's keyboard which it suggested was not as easy to use as previous models.
Motorola has launched a number of mobile phones recently including the music-focussed ROKR E8.
